American
Art Collector is
published annually each October, with 3500 copies printed
in Hong
Kong to art
book standards (260 gsm cover, 128 gsm art stock, smythe-sewn binding).
Books are mailed to galleries,
art consultants, and designers around the country. Jurors are California
College of the Arts instructor Howard Eige and gallery owner Jan
Christensen-Heller.
The postmark deadline for submissions is May 1st. Emailed images can be accepted
until Tuesday, May 6th. The publication date
is September 1st.
There is no application form or jury fee. A $199 participaton fee for
those juried in includes: one page in the book, six finished copies,
and 1000 postcards (6" x 4.25", 4c/1c) using your image from the book.
To apply send ONE
hi-resolution (350 ppi @ 6”) RGB TIF file via email, CD, or FTP. Provide title,
materials,
and dimensions for your piece.
You may also submit
via 35mm
slide, there is a $10 slide scanning fee.
